Service Description
Technical Building Consulting and Measurements Complex requirements, strict specifications, and intense time and cost pressures can lead to planning or execution errors in construction projects. If defects or damage are not assessed early and professionally, unnecessary follow-up costs and conflicts often arise. 4BM supports building owners, specialist companies, public authorities, and insurance companies with technical questions concerning building protection, flooring, and rigid coverings. Over 18 years of experience in technical building consulting and a solid background in the trades form the basis for a practical and solution-oriented assessment. We analyze damage, defects, and demanding execution details, document the current situation, and develop technically feasible, long-lasting solutions, taking into account applicable regulations and recognized best practices. Upon request, we can accompany projects from the initial assessment through consulting to completion. In cases of differing opinions, we also support the professional clarification between the parties involved. The initial on-site consultation, valued at CHF 150, includes: • Discussion of your request • Site visit to analyze your needs, deficiencies, or damage • Initial assessment and documentation of the current situation • Travel within 20 km of Pieterlen (BE) This initial consultation provides a preliminary professional assessment. Based on this, we will outline possible next steps and, if needed, prepare a customized quote. Should you decide to proceed with our services, the CHF 150 fee for the initial consultation will be credited back to you. Further investigations, measurements, consultations, and reports are not included in the free initial consultation. The initial consultation is free of charge. Additional services by agreement or depending on effort: • Additional site visits and consultations on-site or via video • Standard, non-accredited measurements and tests: – CM measurements – Residual moisture and component moisture measurements – Bond strength measurements – Preliminary compressive strength tests of mortar and concrete on-site – Wet and dry film thickness measurements – Surface roughness measurements – Void detection – Determination of the pH value of water – Salt analyses • Reports and measurement protocols • Technical clarifications with building owners, specialist companies, and manufacturers • Development of technical solutions according to the current state of the art • Assessment of water damage Clarify early. Cancellation Policy and Conditions (Art. 97 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations) Cancellation and Rebooking Appointment bookings for viewings, consultations, and services can be canceled or rebooked free of charge by the client up to 24 hours before the agreed start date. The cancellation or rebooking must be made in text form (email, SMS, in writing) or by telephone. The time of receipt by 4BM Blickenstorfer is decisive. Cancellations after the deadline If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start date of the appointment or if the client does not appear for the appointment ("no-show"), 4BM Blickenstorfer reserves the right to charge a flat-rate cancellation fee of CHF 150. Any material or travel costs already incurred will be charged separately. Obligations of the Client The client is obligated to keep the agreed appointment or to cancel/rebook in a timely manner. In the event of repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows, 4BM Blickenstorfer reserves the right to only accept further bookings against advance payment. Legal Basis These regulations are based on the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations, in particular Articles 97 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) (liability for non-performance).
