• What is 4BM?

4BM Blickenstorfer is an owner-managed sole proprietorship founded in 2025 by Marc Blickenstorfer and active since September of the same year.

Its roots lie in traditional building crafts—combined with a strong affinity for modern technologies, innovative engineering, and many years of experience in construction consulting and practical execution.

Our goal is to preserve Swiss construction craftsmanship as a precise and sustainable art form and to provide our customers with professional support in challenging situations – whether through sound advice or short-term execution. At the same time, we attach great importance to solving problems quickly and permanently.

Our services are aimed at building owners, contractors, planners, property managers, and insurance companies who require technical support.

In addition, we also undertake minor repairs or renovations on request—especially when

a case needs to be expedited or simplified and no manufacturer's warranties are available.

• What we do

​

We offer comprehensive technical support in planning, permanently repairing damage or defects, and execution.

This applies to new projects as well as to projects that have already been started or completed but where there is dissatisfaction. We support clients in their search for optimal solutions and, if desired, also in mediating between the parties involved. In doing so, we rely on professional competence and negotiating skills with the aim of achieving a clean, sustainable solution for all parties. Our areas of expertise include building construction, interior finishing, subfloors, and final floor coverings—in particular ceramic coverings, natural stone, jointless coverings made of synthetic resin or cement filler—as well as the renovation of concrete, masonry, and building fabric worth preserving.

Whether private or commercial properties, interior or exterior areas: we provide expert support for all technical questions and, on request, also carry out smaller jobs – for example, when tenants change or for joint repairs.

One of 4BM's main areas of focus is the objective analysis and sustainable repair of structural damage and defects. We combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of your situation. 

The aim is to find a fair, economical, and viable solution in every case—whether through professional repair, mediation, or coordination of specialized companies, or simply by achieving the best possible outcome given the current situation.

Renovations, interior finishing, floor coverings (ceramic, natural stone, jointless systems, wood repairs), floor covering renovations, joint renovations, waterproofing (SIA 271/1), concrete repair, and masonry renovation.

2. Building physics and geometric measurements

Modern measurement methods provide a reliable basis for decision-making.

We record elevation quotas, lengths, gradients, moisture, adhesive strength, roughness, mortar compressive strength, crack widths, and much more—for a precise picture of the situation and the optimal solution.

3. Cause analysis and precise solution finding

In the event of damage, defects, or construction requests, we find the right solution through targeted cause research – reliably and transparently.

4. Technical solutions & mediation

Independent expertise, repair concepts, and mediation between parties involved and technical questions in the aforementioned specialist areas, development of structurally sound solutions, or even support during implementation. We are happy to assist you in all matters relating to the preservation of building fabric.

5. Minor repairs and day construction sites

Whether spot repairs on ceramics, natural stone, wood flooring, or laminate, joint refurbishment, or renovation of old cement or epoxy resin joints, we offer the entire range of joint renovations, flooring repairs, minor concrete and masonry renovations, waterproofing, and customer masonry work.
