Service Description
Damp basements or damp foundation walls on the ground floor have a lasting negative impact on both the indoor climate and the building structure. In the long term, such moisture damage can lead to mold growth and other health problems. The causes of moisture in floors and walls are determined on-site, as is the presence of any salts such as chlorides, sulfates, and nitrates. Based on this information, a customized renovation proposal is developed. Individual solutions are particularly crucial for older buildings that do not meet current insulation and waterproofing standards. Initial on-site consultation: - Inspection and assessment of the current situation, including moisture measurement - Includes travel up to a maximum of 20 km from Pieterlen (BE) - Preparation of a suitable quote Optional additional services – by agreement or depending on effort: - Further on-site inspections or expert consultations or video chats - Coordination with specialist companies, manufacturers, or building owners - Moisture measurements, including measurement report - Creation of moisture profiles with documentation - Semi-quantitative salt analyses, including report - Development of special technical solutions in accordance with applicable guidelines - Minor construction work as part of the renovation of masonry and basement walls The goal is a sustainable renovation that improves both functionality and the indoor climate in the long term.

Cancellation Policy and Conditions (Art. 97 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations) Cancellation and Rebooking Appointment bookings for viewings, consultations, and services can be canceled or rebooked free of charge by the client up to 24 hours before the agreed start date. The cancellation or rebooking must be made in text form (email, SMS, in writing) or by telephone. The time of receipt by 4BM Blickenstorfer is decisive. Cancellations after the deadline If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start date of the appointment or if the client does not appear for the appointment ("no-show"), 4BM Blickenstorfer reserves the right to charge a flat-rate cancellation fee of CHF 150. Any material or travel costs already incurred will be charged separately. Obligations of the Client The client is obligated to keep the agreed appointment or to cancel/rebook in a timely manner. In the event of repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows, 4BM Blickenstorfer reserves the right to only accept further bookings against advance payment. Legal Basis These regulations are based on the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations, in particular Articles 97 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) (liability for non-performance).
