Service Description

Are you experiencing problems with your project and can't find a solution? We support you with expert advice in the form of a professional assessment, all about rigid floor coverings and substrates – from initial classification to clear recommendations for further action. Professional assessments for rigid floor coverings & substrates: Whether ceramic coverings, natural stone, mosaics, seamless coverings (troweled/mineral surfaces) or synthetic resin coatings and their substrates: We systematically analyze damage, defects, and deviations – always in conjunction with the specific substrate (e.g., concrete, cement/calcium sulfate screed, heated screed, existing covering, waterproofing systems) and the required specifications. Procedure & Content (as per offer): On-site assessment of the situation and boundary conditions (structure, use, construction process, interfaces) Targeted building measurements depending on the issue (e.g., moisture/climate, evenness, adhesion/bonding, layer structure – as far as possible on site) Causal analysis and verifiable evaluation based on recognized engineering standards (including relevant SIA/SN EN/WTA principles, project-specific requirements) Written report including photo documentation and measurement logs, with any specific recommendations for action (immediate measures, remediation options, risk assessment, next steps) Free of charge: Initial on-site visit Inspection for desired, defect, or damage analysis As-built assessment Including travel up to a maximum of 20 km from Pieterlen (BE) Optional: Support during defect rectification and follow-up inspections Important note: Our expert opinion is a private report/expert opinion for technical clarification and decision-making. It is not an officially appointed court-ordered expert opinion and does not replace legally required inspections/verifications by accredited bodies.

Cancellation Policy and Conditions (Art. 97 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations) Cancellation and Rebooking Appointment bookings for viewings, consultations, and services can be canceled or rebooked free of charge by the client up to 24 hours before the agreed start date. The cancellation or rebooking must be made in text form (email, SMS, in writing) or by telephone. The time of receipt by 4BM Blickenstorfer is decisive. Cancellations after the deadline If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start date of the appointment or if the client does not appear for the appointment ("no-show"), 4BM Blickenstorfer reserves the right to charge a flat-rate cancellation fee of CHF 150. Any material or travel costs already incurred will be charged separately. Obligations of the Client The client is obligated to keep the agreed appointment or to cancel/rebook in a timely manner. In the event of repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows, 4BM Blickenstorfer reserves the right to only accept further bookings against advance payment. Legal Basis These regulations are based on the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations, in particular Articles 97 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) (liability for non-performance).
