ABOUT ME
Building is my passion—technical solutions are my mission.
The story of 4BM doesn't begin at a desk, but with mortar and trowel in hand and an apprenticeship as a bricklayer in building construction.
The story
In 2001, I completed my apprenticeship as a bricklayer in building construction—the first cornerstone of my current career path.
Early on, I developed a strong enthusiasm for precise craftsmanship, clean details, and understanding why things work – or don't.
With the aim of continuously expanding my professional skills, I pursued a consistent career path:
2001: Completion of vocational training as a bricklayer Q in building construction
2002: Customer bricklayer
2003: Bricklayer foreman
2003: Completed building construction foreman training
2010: Graduated as a technical sales representative, including a commercial diploma
2019: Graduated as a building protection specialist
2025: Continuing education in building surveying
From 2007 to 2025, I focused on providing technical consulting services for international construction chemical manufacturers.
During this time, I was able to systematically deepen my understanding of construction chemistry, my knowledge of standards, and my ability to perform technical analyses of complex construction issues.
The combination of practical construction site experience and years of technical consulting continues to shape my approach to work today: objective, solution-oriented, and always focused on real-world construction.
My motivation
My motivation is to combine craftsmanship with sound technical advice—and thus contribute to improving the increasingly demanding construction quality in existing buildings.
With over 8 years of practical experience in construction and nearly 18 years in technical consulting, I have the necessary understanding of planning, execution, and renovation—from both perspectives.
I can support you in particular with:
-
Technical questions about ceramic and natural stone coverings, glass mosaics, coatings, and waterproofing
-
Expert reports for rigid coverings and substrates
-
Covering renovations, e.g., using spot repairs for ceramic coverings, natural stone, and wood and vinyl coverings
-
All types of joint renovations, whether simple silicone joints or mechanically stressed sealing joints
-
Concrete repairs and concrete cosmetics
-
Floating or bonded subfloors
-
Sealing issues indoors and outdoors
-
Masonry renovations in existing buildings and the necessary preliminary clarifications
-
Customer masonry work as a supplement to practical services
The focus is always on sensible, sustainable solutions and the preservation of existing building fabric.
