​The story of 4BM doesn't start at a desk, but with mortar and trowel in hand.

The story

​

In 2001, I completed my apprenticeship as a bricklayer in building construction – the first foundation stone for what 4BM is today.

With enthusiasm for precise craftsmanship, aesthetic perfection, and the tireless urge to expand my knowledge,

I continued on my path:

​

• 2002: Customer mason

• 2003: Mason foreman

• From 2003: Building construction foreman with crane operator training

• 2010: Graduated as a technical sales representative with a commercial diploma

• 2019: Graduated as a building protection specialist

• 2025: Further training in building surveying​

​

From 2007 to 2025, I worked primarily in technical consulting for international construction chemicals manufacturers.

This time brought my technical know-how, my understanding of construction chemistry, and my knowledge of standards up to date—and made me what I am today: a construction expert with in-depth practical and consulting experience.

 

The driving force

My goal is to combine craftsmanship with sound consulting expertise in order to counteract the decline in construction quality that has been evident for years.

With over 8 years of practical experience in construction and almost 18 years in technical consulting, I have exactly the knowledge you need to provide you with optimal support:

• Technical questions about ceramic and natural stone coverings, glass mosaics, coatings, and waterproofing (SIA 244, 246, 248, 252)

• Covering renovations, e.g., spot repairs of ceramic coverings, natural stone, cement or synthetic resin-bound coverings, coatings, and wood coverings

• Joint renovations (from silicone to SIA 274)

• Concrete repairs and concrete cosmetics (in accordance with SN EN 1504)

• Subfloors (SIA 251)

• Sealing issues in indoor and outdoor areas (SIA 270–274)

• Masonry renovations in existing buildings (according to WTA)

• All types of customer masonry work
